Hi, My name is Marianne Kolson and I am the owner of 30 and Out Fitness for Women.
I am a wife and mom of 2 young girls (ages 12 and 16) so I know first hand how hard it can be to find time to "fit in" fitness. The need for a time-effective workout is why I started 30 and Out Fitness for Women fourteen years ago. Our center offers 30-minute workouts and more for busy women (like me) of all ages and fitness levels. I am an AFAA, Zumba, Zumba Gold, RKC Kettlebell and SilverSneakers certified group fitness instructor.
My talented, friendly staff and I look forward to helping you reach your fitness goals.

Elaine has been in the fitness industry since 1982 and has earned three certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) which include Personal Trainer, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist and Group Fitness Instructor. She founded Elaine Bigler's Fitness for Life in 1985. Her years in the fitness industry have been quite diverse and have taken her from corporate fitness programming with some of the largest companies in the Pittsburgh area, to community programming and one-on one in home personal training. She has worked with high school athletes and sports teams as well as seniors in our community. Her expertise extends to helping those who are rehabilitating after orthopedic surgery or injury as well as designing programs specific to each individual's health and fitness goals. Elaine's commitment is still the same as when she first founded Fitness for Life… helping individuals achieve and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle through quality personalized programs that respect individuality and encourage success.

I walked into 30 and Out Fitness the first week it was open for business thinking I would possibly become a member. However, I ended up becoming an employee instead! Prior to marriage, I had previous experience at a health club. After high school I moved to Florida for six years, where I graduated college. When I moved back to Washington, I started working as an aerobics instructor and fitness sales consultant. Eventually I became a health club manager. In 1989 I got married and became a stay at home mom after our two children where born. Once they were settled into school, I decided to go back to work. And that's how I ended up here! Everyone (staff and members) here is very friendly. It's a great place to get fit and meet new friends. I love it here, and I'm sure you will too.
I first found yoga at the recommendation of my endocrinologist, as an excellent way to help manage my hypothyroidism. The inclusion of yoga has been life changing eliminating hypothyroid symptoms, including fatigue and weight gain. Over the next 10 years, I developed a personal practice, deepening my appreciation of yoga, for its physical, health, and emotional benefits. When my oldest child turned one, I left full-time employment to be a stay-at-home mom, and at that time began my formal teacher training with Yogafit. I have been teaching yoga to all-levels since 2009 and enjoy mixing vinyasa style yoga with traditional exercise/fitness science. In addition to my yoga training, I also hold my personal training certificate through the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCPPT). I love to challenge students, regardless of experience level, to reach within and surrender oneself to the practice. Namaste!
